A Community Center for Grief and Healing, designed to be a nurturing place to guide children and adults through the difficult time following a death, whether sudden and unexpected or anticipated.

Kansas City Hospice

Camp Erin™ Kansas City

A weekend bereavement camp for youth grieving the death of a significant person in their lives. Children and teens 6 to 17 attend a weekend camp that combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities.

A safe place for children and teens to:

  • Tell their story in a safe environment
  • Learn they are not alone
  • Process grief in healthy ways
  • Honor and memorialize loved ones
  • Build a toolbox of coping skills
  • Have fun!

Camp Carousel

A weekend retreat for families with school-aged children. It offers fun, recreational activities and creative opportunities to foster sharing and healing.

  • Opportunities for families to spend quality time together
  • Therapeutic activities include opportunities to share memories
  • Parents and guardians can learn more about parenting children who are grieving and can process their own grief in adult-only sessions
  • Connect with nature in a relaxing setting

Kansas City HospicePassages Counseling

A mental health program providing individual and family counseling by licensed clinical social workers. Most insurance plans, Medicare and Medicaid are accepted for services.

  • Passages is available for people:
  • Working through complicated grief
  • Healing from the pain of past trauma
  • Needing help with difficult life transitions
  • Experiencing caregiver stress
  • Coping with anxiety, depression, or PTSD

    I’m trying to find help with grieving and trauma and PTSD etc.
