Tuesday and Wednesday night peer support groups for pre-school through adults. Youth are in groups with others of their same age and developmental level. There are a variety of losses in our youth groups (parent, sibling and grandparent loss). Adults are in groups with others who have experienced a similar type of death (spouse, child, suicide or mixed adult). The mixed adult groups are often parent, sibling or former spouse grief. The Grief Journey is a five session grief support group for adults who have experienced a loss due to death. The group's focus is on increasing participants' understanding of  the normal and common responses to grief while developing coping strategies to navigate through the process. It is suggested that attendees wait at least 2 months since their loved one died to attend this group. Seats are limited, so please call Beth at 816-691-5119 before October 29 to register.

Join us to learn coping strategies to make this season more comfortable. No registration is required.
