A message from David Wiley, CEO, Kansas City Hospice
Today we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our Top Drawer Resale Boutique. We are very aware of the anxiety people are facing during this difficult time around the world, within our nation, and in our local community.Â
Protecting our staff, volunteers, donors and customers is our top priority. It’s also important to recognize our civic responsibility to do what we can to protect our community and its most vulnerable members. The most effective tool at our disposal is social distancing, which is recommended by the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control.
Effective Wednesday, March 18, Top Drawer’s physical location will be closing TEMPORARILY
We plan to reopen our doors to both shoppers and donors on Wednesday, April 1st
Over this time, we will thoroughly clean the store and implement new measures to ensure your safety, and the safety of our staff and volunteers. You won’t lose us entirely, though! You can still find great deals at our luxury market on eBay, found at  https://www.ebay.com/str/
This is also a great time to clean through your own closets and take a look around for gently used items to donate. As always, proceeds from all donations go right to supporting the mission of Kansas City Hospice. We need you now more than ever.Â
Thank you for your understanding and support of Top Drawer and the Kansas City Hospice mission. From our family to yours, we send good wishes that you and your family stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing you again April 1st!
My best,
David S. Wiley, President & CEO
