The connection with animals is unique in our experience. James is a lifelong horse lover residing at Village Shalom and one of our volunteers knew exactly what would make his day. She made a special request come true when Lady came to call. James’ face says it all. We are so lucky to have volunteers who work to make every day memorable. Thanks to Stevie, Shelley and Lady for putting a smile on so many faces that day.
