Executive Team

Caryn joined the team at KCH in 2017 and has more than 26 years of executive leadership and fundraising experience. Prior to KCH, she was with Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) (Omaha, NE) and its alliance organization, Easterseals Nebraska, where she held the position of Vice President of Development and Marketing for both organizations. She has previously served as Executive Director of a nonprofit serving victims and survivors of family and sexual violence, Executive Director of a foundation supporting older adults and adults with disabilities, and served on the founding committee of the first child advocacy center serving mid-Nebraska. For more than a decade, Caryn worked as a consultant to dozens of organizations, helping to reform their fundraising practices, connect with their donors, and ensure the necessary resources to fulfill their missions. To date, she has raised more than $81 million for organizations large and small, helping to build strong families and thriving communities. Caryn is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a BS in Social Work.
