Grief Support for Hospice Families

Grief Support for Hospice Families

A KCH Grief Support Specialist contacts each family, following the death of a loved one who received KCH hospice care. Together, you will decide which services may be helpful to your family. Our Grief Support Specialists have backgrounds in social work, chaplaincy, or counseling, and experience working with grieving people.

Grief Support for Hospice Families may include:

  • Individual grief support
  • Supportive calls or telehealth
  • Community-based workshops and support groups
  • Grief support camps for families with children ages 6 to 17
  • Informational mailings and emails for a year following your loss
  • Online information, articles and links regarding grief support at KCHospice.org/griefresources
