Programs for Grief and Healing

The Grief Support team at Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care recognizes the struggles you may be facing at your loved one’s end of life. We want you to know that you are not alone.

During hospice care for a loved one, one of our grief support specialists will be directly linked to you to discuss the support options available to you and your family. We will make every effort to provide services that embrace your family traditions and bring comfort and support to family members of all ages.

Services may include individual appointments, calls, support groups, educational information, additional resources or referrals. We will also let you know about programs for young people, including Camp Carousel and Camp Erin. Grief support services are offered to you freely as part of the hospice benefit and are also supported by donors.

We want to assure you of our presence and availability. Your grief support specialist will mail a packet of information to your address within the next month. We will follow up with a call in the next few weeks. You are also welcome to reach out to us by phone or email when you feel ready to explore services.

Sincerely,

The Grief Support Team
