We celebrated the 20th anniversary of Solace House earlier this year. The original founders were joined by many long-time supporters and volunteers, families who have been served over the years and community leaders. If you’ve not already seen the video, or if you already have, it’s worth another look.

“The main mission of Solace House is to provide hope for grievers,” stated Lisa Templeton-Farmer, Program Manager. “That they see how they’re feeling is not how they’re always going to feel. That it may take longer than they wanted, it may be harder than they want it to be, but there is hope for the future. They can find joy again.”

Grief impacts every family at some point. At Solace House, we provide resources for every family member from age 3 through adult. We can help regardless of a family’s financial situation. Our generous donors and volunteers make this possible. You can help make a difference in the lives our Kansas City families by volunteering or donating to Solace House.
