Partners in Care

Partners in Care is the Kansas City Hospice Corporate Partnership Program. Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care has been part of the health care continuum for 40 years and resides at the forefront of innovation and quality in our rapidly changing healthcare environment.

We are proud to deliver expert, compassionate care for people of all ages and are able to do so because of generous philanthropic support from our corporate and community partners.

Today, more than ever, social responsibility is a critical aspect of a successful business model. When you partner with Kansas City Hospice, you benefit your company, your employees, your clients, and your community. Our extensive partnership opportunities will help you further engage your employees and customers, plug your business into the community, and positively impact your brand.

Sponsor our annual giving efforts

We offer sponsorship and match opportunities through our annual direct mail appeals and community newsletters. One fantastic way to help us achieve our fundraising goal while directly exposing your brand to tens of thousands of people is to offer a challenge match to donors in our Giving Tuesday, spring memorial appeal or annual holiday season appeal.

Contribute Gifts in Kind

Gifts in Kind include donated products or services such as food, beverage, printing, media services and more. This is an excellent way to give back by leveraging your company’s strengths and assets while making a significant impact to the patients and families served by KCH&PC.

You’ll enjoy increased employee engagement while feeling good about displaying responsible corporate citizenship.

Make a Direct Financial Contribution

Your financial support allows us to say “yes” to families throughout the community who need our care. With our range of services and programs, we are uniquely positioned to help you find a platform to advance a chosen cause, engage your employees, and inspire your peers and clients throughout the community.

Whether it’s pediatric hospice care for a little one and their family, helping a grieving family find hope again after a sudden death, or enabling the most fragile among us to receive compassionate end-of-life care, your generosity is a demonstration of your care for the Kansas City community.

Carry Out Your Own Event or Campaign

This is a terrific way for a business to bring forward a fundraising initiative that includes a planned activity that you have designed, managed and financially resourced, with proceeds going to KCH&PC. This can be as simple as sponsoring a company jeans day or as involved as the wildly successful “Patrick’s .1K Run” that takes place each summer at KC’s Patrick’s Bar & No Grill.

Your restaurant or retail location might choose to donate a percentage of sales, or your place of business might choose to do a “pass the hat” collection. There are many options for creative, fun events that your whole organization will feel good about supporting.

Sponsor a KCH&PC Event

Leave the planning to us and enjoy positive exposure of your brand to people throughout the community!  Events include:  Mustache Month (February), Circle of Lights (May), Camp Erin (June), Camp Carousel (September) and Sunday Night Live (October 3, 2021).

Provide direct support to a program most meaningful to you

As healthcare evolves, Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care is at the forefront of how individuals should be cared for at the end of life and how grieving families should be supported. Your partnership and philanthropic support ensures a thriving community for all.

Kansas City Hospice House™ and NorthCare Hospice House offer an alternative for infants, children, teens, and adults who require specialized care for acute pain and symptom management. Your support ensures access to this intensive level of care, regardless of age or resources.

Hospice & Palliative Care for patients without resources ensures expert, compassionate care for individuals and families – wherever they call home – who would otherwise go without.

Carousel Pediatric Care is the only hospice team in the region focused on the unique needs of children and their families. Many Carousel families are facing multiple challenges and need your support to so they can focus on caring for their little ones.

Each summer, Camp Carousel and Camp Erin offer hope and healing to children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Solace House Center for Grief and Healing offers age-appropriate support to children, families, and adults who are grieving. Approximately 75% of Solace House participants are affected by sudden death – most often including accidents, homicides, and completed suicides.

Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care offers a variety of other specialized programs which need your support, including Veterans (VIP) Care, Pet Peace of Mind®, Palliative Medicine Fellowships, Passages Mental Health Counseling, and Expressive Therapies including art, music, and pet therapy.

Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care provides expertise, perspective, innovative local leadership, education, and solutions around end-of-life issues facing the greater Kansas City community. Our compassionate team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to serving individuals at home and throughout the community – including inpatient care at either of our two hospice houses – no matter their age, stage in life or available resources.

Our Vision

Each person in our community is valued from life through death and each family is supported in their grief.

Our Mission Statement

To bring expert care, peace of mind, comfort, guidance, and hope to people who are affected by life-limiting illness or grief.
