How to celebrate National Soup Month

Soup, glorious soup!

Can you think of a culture around the world that does NOT have several soups on the menu?

It’s comfort food. So, no matter what your family tradition, there’s soup.

Soups are warm, mostly. They’re delicious and nutritious. Soups evoke memories of home and family. Soups provide comfort.

And, that’s why you’ll always find a warm bowl of soup at Kansas City Hospice House.

There are many things you can always count on at Kansas City Hospice House:

  • We’re here 24/7 365 to care for your loved one.
  • We’ll give expert compassionate care in beautiful surroundings.
  • Our staff will do their best to make the whole family welcome and comfortable.
  • There’s always one of Chef K’s fresh, homemade soups to provide some home-style comfort.

In honor of National Soup Month, we’re offering Chef K’s cookbook Soups for the first time ever online!

It’s always available at the front desk at Kansas City Hospice House. And, you may purchase a copy at Top Drawer Resale Boutique, our volunteer-staffed shop at 95th and Mission.

But, now we can mail a copy directly to you!

So, celebrate National Soup Month with us. Gather your family around you, make a big pot of your favorite soup this weekend, and enjoy the Chiefs game!
