Kelstan and Phillip had originally planned a large wedding in May of 2020. When COVID-19 forced them to change their plans, they decided to go forward with their marriage and had a lovely, private outdoor ceremony on May 16, 2020. Now that it is once again safe to gather in groups Kelstan and Phillip would like to celebrate with all of you at a reception benefitting Carousel.
The work of Carousel and Kansas City Hospice is very important to the couple. Through her work in palliative care at Children’s Mercy, Kelstan witnesses first hand the impact the nurses, chaplains, social workers and more have on so many families throughout the Kansas City area. By partnering with Carousel for this celebration, it is Kelstan’s and Phillip’s hope to raise awareness about this incredible organization and begin to build a legacy of giving back to the community as they begin their life as a family.
