We are saddened to learn that John Sinnett, Jr., Kansas City Hospice Board Member, died on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at his daughter’s home in Maryville. A funeral service honoring John will be held Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 am.

John was on the NorthCare Hospice Board since 2012 and was an important supporter of NorthCare Hospice House. When NorthCare Hospice was added to the scope of services of Kansas City Hospice in 2015, John became a valued member of our Board of Directors.

John was also a dedicated board member for North Kansas City Hospital for a total of 26 years. He first served on their Board of Trustees from 1974 until 1978, serving as Board Chairperson from 1976 to 1978. John was reappointed to the Board in 1997 and served as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair for many years.  John’s many years of dedication and commitment to North Kansas City Hospital will certainly leave a lasting impact on the hospital and on our community.

The family asks for memorial donations in John’s memory to support NorthCare Hospice House, a service that was near and dear to his heart.
