Heroes for Hospice 2021

Heroes for Hospice 5K is a run/walk that raises money for Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care and MidlandCare of Topeka. H4H is the brainchild of two Kansas City philanthropists. Both have very personal connections with hospice. The pandemic put us off our stride last year, and this year’s event on June 12 comes with hope for a return to more normal life!

H4H is always a fun event. We see so many families gathering together for the music, food, and fun. You’ll see runners and walkers, joined by plenty of strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs! See you in front of REI on the morning of Saturday, June 12!

For more information, visit the Heroes for Hospice website at www.heroesforhospice.com

Thanks to the MANY sponsors, volunteers, vendors, participants, and families who make this event possible. You spread the word of hospice while raising funds to help less fortunate families receive the best possible care in the region!

Both MidlandCare and Kansas City Hospice are nonprofit organizations who care for their communities in so many ways. Here are just some of the programs and services you are supporting:

  • Solace House
  • Carousel Pediatric Hospice
  • Kansas City Hospice House™
  • NorthCare Hospice House
  • Hospice provided in the home
  • Hospice provided in nursing facilities
  • Palliative home health care
