Solace House Spring 2018 Peer Support Group (Cancelled due to weather)

February 20, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Donations Suggested

Tuesday and Wednesday night peer support groups for pre-school through adults. Youth are in groups with others of their same age and developmental level. There are a variety of losses in our youth groups (parent, sibling and grandparent loss). Adults are in groups with others who have experienced a similar type of death (spouse, child, suicide or mixed adult). The mixed adult groups are often parent, sibling or former spouse grief. You must complete initial paperwork and come in for tour and meeting before you are registered for the group. The groups meet every other week for 8 nights between January and May. This is not a therapy group, but peer support.

Participants register for either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and attend every other week for eight nights between January and May of 2018. You must complete paperwork and meet with a staff member to be registered for the group. The groups are closed after the third night of the semester (no one enters group after February). We will accept new participants again in the fall semester.
