Head for the Cure 5K

Join our Kansas City Hospice team for the Head for the Cure 5K – Metro KC at 8 a.m., August 28 in Corporate Woods. This is the 20th anniversary of this incredible run which raises funds, awareness, and hope for the Kansas City brain tumor community and Solace House.  

In addition to the run, the celebration this year include family and kids activities and snacks and other food provided by local vendors. Head for the Cure will be honoring individuals we have lost to brain cancer with a Celebration of Life during the 5K. To honor a loved one,  upload a photo and submit information by August 19 online with the Celebration of Life form

During the 5K, Stop by the Solace House booth to say hello to Dr. Iman Christian Williams Christians and veteran volunteer Sherry Ainsworth. Sign up for the Kansas City Hospice Team online at headforthecure.org.
