Community Education Series: How Giving from an IRA can help YOU

October 28, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us in welcoming back KCH’s Director of Donor Relations, Mary Zahner Bauer. In this session Mary will discuss the benefits of giving from an IRA.  We will discuss how to save taxes today and through your estate, review rules governing contributions and distributions, and cover effective ways to leave a gift for your child.

Mary has worked for KCH for 14 years.  She began her career as the Planned Giving/Major Gift specialist and formalized our Planned Giving efforts by starting the Full Circle Society, which is comprised of those very special people that have included KCH in their estate plans.  She works closely with individuals creating meaningful plans that help fulfill the mission of KCH and the desire for those individuals to make a difference by helping others. She enjoys building partnerships between our organization, our donors and the people we serve.
