|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 6:00pm on day Third of the month, repeating indefinitely

This Dementia Caregivers Support Group meets monthly on the third Monday of the month. All are welcome. For more information, please call Jennifer Walker at 816.838.5109. Other locations are also available, so please check our calendar!

Caregivers of people with dementia or Alzheimer’s often look for support from people who “really understand because they’ve been there, too.” A support group offers a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of people with dementia to meet and develop a mutual support system.

Kansas City Hospice is one of the area’s leading providers of home care, care in assisted living and care in nursing facilities. Compassionate and knowledgeable nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains and therapists provide comfort care when dementia begins to impact quality of life and overall health.
