Camp Carousel Begins

What is Camp Carousel?

It’s a weekend camp experience that combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities.

Who provides grief support care?

Camp Carousel is staffed by professional grief specialists from Kansas City Hospice and Solace House, as well as trained community volunteers.

Who can attend?

It’s open to families with school-aged children, who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives.

Spaces are limited, so apply early!

Camp Carousel is for families with school-aged children who are several months past their loss at the time of camp. Families will be notified about acceptance to Camp following an interview and as space permits.

Thanks to generous donations from the community there is no charge to attend Camp Carousel.
