A Day to Remember

Tanya’s dream was to marry the love of her life, but only if her family could be around her. Her very large family was in Arizona, but she was not well enough to travel. That’s when her social worker, Crispian, and volunteer, Teresa, got to work. First, the best way to get a large family from Arizona to Kansas? That would be getting donations to cover train tickets. Next, refreshments and flowers? No problem for our dedicated volunteers. Photographer? Check. Rings? Check. Her daughter can bake a cake? Fabulous. Now, coordinate with Tanya’s care team and get her ready for the big day. The result? A beautiful wedding and memories for the entire family to cherish. Thanks Crispian and Teresa for making a dream come true.

To this day, Tanya and Rodney’s wedding remains one of the single best days of MY life. So proud and happy to have been a part of it.
