Day of the Dead 2020

Join us in a virtual Day of the Dead celebration with Solace House and Kansas City Hospice. Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is a day of commemoration – an opportunity for individuals to come together to honor, reflect and celebrate the memory of their loved ones who have died. This bilingual event is open to the community and we hope you will take a moment to join us in remembrance!

2020 has seen a pandemic limit our ability to join together in remembrance. Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care and its program, Solace House, a Center for Grief and Healing are offering a unique way to remember loved ones with a virtual Day of the Dead event.

We understand the important role of rituals in helping those grieving continue their connection with loved ones they are missing. We offer you TWO ways to remember.

We are excited to offer this alternative way to “gather” safely and we sincerely hope you are able to join us.  No one should have to grieve alone.
