Celebrating milestones with a committed partner

Celebrating milestones with a committed partner. Woodley Building Maintenance is one of the Midwest’s leading custodial service companies, founded in Kansas City in 1969 by Jimmy and Robery Woodley.

More than 50 years later, the company has approximately 1,500 employees in 22 states. They offer a range of interior and exterior services across a broad spectrum of industries.

Terry Woodley, COO and Jimmy and Robery’s son, shares that his family’s business became a vendor to Kansas City Hospice House when it opened in South Kansas City in 2006. “We see firsthand, daily, the care given to patients and their families at difficult times,” says Terry. “We’re proud to support that mission through both service and through financial support.”

“I know most people don’t think about cleaning and maintenance when they think of hospice,” stated David Wiley, President & CEO of Kansas City Hospice. “It’s not easy to keep things running and make it so seamless for the families we serve. If our families don’t notice, that means Woodley is doing their job perfectly.”

Each representative from Woodley is an integral part of our team. They have a smile for visitors and work so hard to make Kansas City Hospice House a place of comfort.

The Woodleys received the Ingram’s Corporate Giant award in 2019. And, The Kansas City Business Journal named them a Corporate Champion in both 2019 and 2020. Congratulations on receiving these well-deserved accolades!

We are grateful to the Woodleys and their employees for their generosity and commitment to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. Congratulations on 50 amazing years in business! We’re so happy to have you as a committed partner!
