Mission and Vision

Mission Statement

To bring expert care, peace of mind, comfort, guidance, and hope to people who are affected by life-limiting illness or by grief.

Each person in our community is valued from life through death and each family is supported in their grief.

Guiding Principles

We have a deep awareness of the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of patients and their families and extend comfort and kindness to those we serve and to each other

We believe that the final days, weeks, and months of life are vitally important and meaningful, and we strive to help the patient and family make the most of their time together

We honor a person’s right to make their own choices including the right to choose hospice and palliative care, and to make treatment decisions based on personal values

We continually enhance our expertise through ongoing education to deepen our knowledge about hospice and palliative care, and collaborate and share that knowledge with others

We believe that all individuals are deserving of respect and appreciate the richness of diversity

We support a work environment defined by openness, communication, good humor, mutual support and accountability with a balance of work life and personal life

We must be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us

We strive for quality in all we do and continually seek opportunities to improve
